Do you price match any of your furniture?
We always price our furniture to match Gus* Modern's website, but if you happen to see lower prices than ours elsewhere, we will honor those prices for you. We do ask for a screenshot of the ad, active link to the website, or the email you received with a lower price, and it must be the the same item you'd like to purchase from us.
When you shop with us you're supporting a small local business and we really appreciate it! 🥹
Do you have any furniture in stock at your store?
Occasionally we have a few floor models up for grabs that you can purchase and take home the same day of your purchase, but since we are a showroom, generally we do not stock any inventory from Gus* Modern at our location. Any furniture, lighting, accessories, or rugs ordered from Gus* Modern will ship from their respective warehouses and be delivered to you at a later date.
These items are always sold AS-IS and are final sale items.
How much does it cost to ship items from Gus* Modern?
Freight cost is 9% of your total order amount before any discounts. For example, if your cart total is $1,000 and there is a 20% off sale, even though your sale price is $800, your freight cost would still be $90.
Freight only covers shipping from the warehouse to our receiver or your home for curbside freight delivery. If it's a lamp or a rug, it usually ships via FedEx.
Freight does not include White Glove Delivery Service. If you choose to pick up your items in-store, the Freight cost is still applicable.
Do you offer White Glove Delivery Service?
Heck, yeah! We offer White Glove Delivery for any of our local furniture and art orders. It costs $100 within Dallas, $150 within Fort Worth, and $200 anywhere outside of those two areas, but still within the boundaries of the DFW metroplex area. Bed assembly does cost an additional $75 since it's a little time consuming.
If you are out of state we can help coordinate delivery with a company of your choosing, but their rate will vary.
Can you ship furniture and oversized art outside of Texas?
Yep! We can totally ship anywhere in the contiguous United States. Contact us if you have any specific questions we can help you with or if you'd like a quote for shipping before submitting your order.
How soon can I expect my Gus* Modern items to be shipped?
Typically about 85-90% of Gus* Modern items are in stock and ready to ship. You can expect to receive your items in 2-3 weeks, sometimes sooner.
We promise to give you the most accurate delivery/restock timeline we can at the time of purchase. If you have questions about the availability of any item before placing your order, let us know! We're always happy to help.
I purchased some new Gus* Modern items online. Can I pick up my order in-store?
Of course! Freight cost will still apply to your order, but if you don't want White Glove Delivery, we can receive your items at our warehouse, get rid of the packaging and pallets, and then we'll hold your pieces when you're ready to take them home.
You can pick your items up as soon as we notify you that they have arrived at our showroom. Make sure to bring a friend or two if you think you'll need help with the heavy lifting. We recommend bringing moving blankets to protect fragile pieces. Don't forget straps, bungee cords, tie downs, rope or whatever else you might need to secure and/or wrap your items onto your vehicle.
We recommend measuring the vehicle's trunk/bed, etc. and ensuring that your vehicle will fit the pieces you're picking up!
If you purchased a floor model, large items like beds might need disassembly and while we can guide you on how to do it, we are unable to disassemble it for you.
I purchased some art from your current show, how soon can I expect my order to ship?
All artwork will be shipped 7-10 business days after the show closes. If you have any questions regarding your order, shoot us an email or give us a call.
If the art you purchased isn't part of a current show, it will ship within 2-3 business days.
We're a small but mighty team of three, so we really appreciate your patience when it comes to order fulfillment!
I just bought some cool art on your website and I'm local. Can I pick it up in-store?
Sure! Typically you can pick it up same day you buy it, but we appreciate a heads up in case we have to grab your piece from our art storage. If it is an oversized art piece, make sure you measure the vehicle you'll be using to transport it to make sure any the piece will fit in there safely. We recommend blankets or cardboard to help protect more fragile pieces.
I placed an order online, can I pick it up in-store?
Mhmm. You can choose Dallas Pick-Up during checkout and include in your order notes when you'd like to pick your items up. Orders for home goods and accessories are typically ready to pick up within 24hrs or less, but please be mindful that it could take us a little longer to wrap your things up if they are delicate, like ceramics, so it's best to give us a heads up on when you are planning to swing by for your items.
